Route check
Type where you are going and see the documented cameras, approved camera roads and roadside monitoring on the way. Free. No account.
A guide, not a guarantee. We check the route a free map service suggests, usually the quickest. Your driver or sat nav may choose different roads. Approved is not the same as present: EVADR shows official lists, never live police positions. The addresses you type are sent to OpenStreetMap-based services to find places and a route; see the privacy page.
How it matches
- Fixed, average-speed and monitoring sites are listed when the route passes within 60 metres.
- Approved mobile and phone/seatbelt roads are listed when the route is within 25 metres of the road line. These lines are indicative, not the exact approved boundaries.
- Direction of travel is not known, so a camera on the other carriageway can appear.
- Fleets: the same check, with a dated brief, toolbox talk and spreadsheet, is part of the Fleet Brief.
